All respect to the Bills, but the better team won all 4 of those Super Bowls.
I was rooting for them in 3 (I’m a ’skins fan). The Bills just had bad luck to run into great teams.
The Bills were playing in the inferior conf @ the time it showed when they got to the SB. WRs who were running free against the AFC were blown up the Bills couldn’t do enough other things well enough to win.
Hard as it is to admit, the Bills were the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFL ea of those 4 yrs.

That was the 1993 Divisional Playoff game vs. the Raiders. This game was after the 1990 season

I’m a Raider fan, and even though it was tough watching Buffalo beat my team in the playoffs twice in 4 years, I loved watching the Bills during this era. The Super Bowl this year was extremely well played by both teams’ offense and defense. It was one of those games where both teams were deserving to be Super Bowl champs, but of course in the end only one can.

you can be humble without the Christian part. one doesn’t beget the other.

I’m over the fact we never won a superbowl. The glory of what if felt like to be a fan of this “small market” team in those days was in-describible. We were a dynasty, Buffalo was a dynasty. The superbowl is over-rated and who is to say it’s not fixed?.I’m content and happy with the memories of being AFC champs for four years in a row!. I will not die until we do win the superbowl though.

If I remember correctly, this is the game where it snowed and Steve Tasker almost took a kick-off back for a TD.

I can’t wait for this season….. I am moving back to Buffalo, and I am going to be yelling, screaming, banging on my seat and taking off my shirt in sub-zero weather with the rest of you nut-cases.

I don’t think there will ever be another team in history that was so good and so humble at the same time.

This team had a lot of Christians on it, and it shows. What a team…..What a time to live in Buffalo. I wish I could go back in time and be there all over again.

There was absolutely no way anybody was beatin this team IN buffalo. That year we scored 100 pts in 2 playoff games at home…. damn shame we couldn’t win the big game…sigh…

the bills were simply unstoppable that day, and invincible the next week against the raiders. the bills really should have won the super bowl that year, they were the best team in the nfl. but, the best team doesn’t always win the championship…sigh

Enberg did not cover this game. Was Albert and Paul McGuire. Not sure if you knew that, or were making a statement about who you like to cover games. So no offense intended.

Dick Enberg and Marv Albert are still pretty damn good. They call a game the way its suppose to be. FUN ! Excitment ! not these boring announcers out there now. Al Micheals is good too. Gus Johnson is good and Don Criqui is still pretty good too. I like Joe Buck also.

    Damn you Thurminator! j/k.

Im a Dolfan but I wanna thank you, BillCody for uploading the video. You can see the how better broadcasts were back then. No exaggerated, constant overlays, just football. NFL on NBC was great! Marv Albert, Dick Enberg, those were the days. Anyway, even though I can’t stand the Bills…I respect that 90s team.

Thurman Thomas was great in this game. Now, even HE openly admits that the Bills are a terrible team to watch these days.
Hopefully 2009 will finally be Buffalo’s year to be a contender again.

I miss those days. I remember watching this and how crazy it was that year. I wish we could have won atleast one of the superbowl games. But i will never forget all the playoffs games we won.

Of their 4 super bowl teams this was the Bills’s best. They should have won it all that year. Listened to this game on AFN and will never forget how Marino kept bringing Miami back against the odds. However Bills overall offense was just too strong. Marino was a hell of a fighter.
