getting wood and levitre was very very shrewd. both players will start this year and help the oline in a big way. inside is where buffalo needed help, now they have 3 new starters inside….
My draft board was blew up as well! Bills addressed needs with players that can help right away, so I’m happy. Shawn Nelson pick is amazing and we’re lucky he fell that far. With Mack gone, Wood pick made sense. Both Wood Levitre have good character and will bring a much needed mean demeonor to the O-Line. All in all, very nice offseason. Peters may have been decent but is way overrated and now overpaid… plus, one less drama to have to deal with and we got value for him. Go Bills!
Kiper and Mayock both mentioned that unlike the others, Nelson does give a good effort as a blocker so the will is there he just needs to fine tune his blocking technique.
i love the Maybin pick. All the de’s had their share of flaws but he was the best pure pass rusher. In regrards to Nelson, I’m very happy with the pick. His one knock is blocking but With the exception of Pettigrew, the other top tight ends (Nelson, Cook, Ingram, Coffman, Beckum and Casey) were pegged as having elite receiving skills but mediocre blocking. One thing I am condfient in though is he can get better at blocking but you can’t teach his hands, speed and athleticism.
we needed an o-lineman like oher
maybin was a stupid pick
if schoble stays healthy we can shift mcargo to the other end and have wiliams and stroud at dt and stay with 4-3 defense
that way we would of had oher instead of maybin!
to a man buff’s o-line is better then last Most of all in the middle
Peters,Dockery,Preston,Butler, Walker ‘08′
Walker,Levitre,Hangartner,Wood,Butler this season … Butler and Walker have been the most consistent the last two seasons .. Plus Backup wise McKinney and Chambers are very serviceable
that’s the only thing that scares me.. the key will be the team/players keeping DJ’s horrible late games calls to a bare minimum and that will only come if this team is winning by ten+ with 3 mins left
My sister went to high school with Maybin, he’s suppose to be a really cool guy. Patriots and Bills are wearing throwbacks for week one! Monday night AFL Legacy game can’t wait!
11 is a funny place to pick. hit or miss really but that can be said about any draft pick. but the history seems good from ‘04′ till ‘08′ Roethlisberger, DeMarcus Ware, Jay Cutler, Patrick Willis, Leodis McKelvin, so the pick seems to have a good recent history

Yeah I hated how they were saying Peters needed to be replaced when Bell or Butler can probably do better than him.

Do you think Maybin was a reach?
