Who sees the Buffalo Bills offense electrifying us this season just enough to get us a wildcard?
December 29th, 2008 | by admin |Losman could get into a real comfort zone. The offensive line is revamped and one of the more physical ones around now. We have some terrific young depth at DB, RB, some veteran hostiles in their primes on the D-line. Better than it looks linebacking. Lee Evans and some more lesser known depth at WR. A hungry young nucleus. A We’ve already won the whole thing attitude in New England. Why not? Who circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills? No-one NO-ONE circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills! I honestly don’t see it as biased delusion to think we’ll give the Pats at least one real thumping.

You see the thing that is wrong about what you are thinking is A) where are the running backs, I mean they’ve got a lot to prove and B) could is a big word for saying Losman could get into a comfort zone. The Bills are a joke but I guess it is very possible to beat the Patriots, I don’t think they will do as well as past years. Randy Moss will be a bit of a distraction in my mind…

To be honest, i like Jp Losman, and Lee Evans, and i used to like willis Mcgahee. but i WAS a fan of the Dolphins, til Nick Saban Quit and they drafted that QB and kinda short changed dante Culpepper and dont want Tokin’ Smokin’ Ricky Williams back. But every time i play Madden 07, i draft Lee Evans and Larry Fitz as my WRs in the Fantasy Draft mode. they are tallented and so is that CB they have, Mgee? is that his name. Yeah, Losman is finally coming into something good. he has great mobility and he is still young, so will be much improved from last season….
AND THAT IS FREAKIN SCARY!! but exiting for you since you are a Bills fan i guess. you got good times to look forward to, not just this season but their offense is young and expect them to have a good run with the young guns they have.

I see no real threats at offence. Maybe at the WR positions you have Lee evens but hes only gonna make a big play every once in a while. Losing Willis McGahee, you key offensive player hurts bad, I don’t see a powerful offence at all for the Bills

I think as a Bills fan you have an exciting future. The present doesn’t look so great for you however. Last year the Bills drafted Ashton Youboty to replace Nate Clements, so this will be his first year as a starter. Donte Whitner is only in his second year as well, as is John McCargo (Who, just so happened to be injured most of last year) Marshawn Lynch is an awesome back but for one he is a Rookie and rookies typically don’t produce major numbers in most cases. The Bills Line is not that great. Buffalo has a ton of young tallent, but I dont’ think they are anywhere close to being a contender, espically playing in the AFC East. The Patriots are well, the Patriots, and if the Jets play like they did last year, the Bills are going to have a tough Run.

I am excited about the Bills upcoming season. Everyone can talk all the smack they want about Losman, but in his first season under Fairchild, his stats improved greatly (rating, completion percentage, yds). Any qb would suffer if they had different offensive coordinators, a sub-par o-line and a rb who never read the playbook and could’nt block to save his life. This is Losman’s 2nd year in the same system, so he knows it and can delve deeper into the playbook with small tweaks when something changes.
Lynch is an improvement over McGahee. Lynch can run, block and catch. He seems to be into learning all he can (all McGahee cared about was getting into women’s pants). Before you McGahee backers start whining saying that McGahee had no o-line, look back at the stats of Travis Henry and McGahee. Henry’s stats are better, and he ran with just as bad an o-line, plus he ran on a fractured leg. I’d like to see McGahee’s primadonna rear end do that!
With the improved o-line, the offense will not need to rely on the TE so much for blocking, utilizing the TE more in passing situations, giving the Bills more weapons.
WR does not worry me at all. The only WR that does not impress me, nor has he ever, is Josh hand of stone Reed. Drops too many easy catches in my opinion.
The only question marks I have for this team is defense. Losing Clements isn’t that big because he blew too many coverages trying to go for the INT instead of just defending the pass. Case in point…..the Miami game where Chambers lit up the Bills. But the thing that killed us last year was our run defense. And the Bills did not address that this offseason. They need big run stuffers up the middle. Walker is more of a pass rusher than a run blocker. But hey, I hope the Bills prove me wrong.
That being said, the AFC East is a tough division, and I won’t go on record as saying that the Bills make the playoffs. I will say, however, that I am lookign forward to an exciting season. GO BILLS!!!

I didnt. Minus Willis Magahee was the real deal and Marshawn Lynch cannot be a big impact in his rookie season I give ti 2 or 3 years to be talking playoffs.
