Should I wear my jersey to a Buffalo Bills game?

I’m a New England Patriots fan going to see a Pats/Bills game in Buffalo. Should I wear my Patriots jersey or will Buffalo fans murder me?

    It depends.

How old are you? Will you be going alone?

No matter what, I say wear it. Support the team. No need to fear for your life, but you will sure as hell be ridiculed. No matter where you go that isn’t friendly territory, there may always be the drunk *sshole that is going to throw a beer on you.

Don’t worry about nobody else wear whatever jersey you want to wear.

Buffalo shouldn’t be a problem. Bills fans aren’t violent that I’ve ever heard. Philly and NY are different stories. There’s a very real possibility of bodily harm, no joke. A NY Yankee fan shot a Red Sox fan this spring in an argument about baseball. If you go to a hostile stadium, grow a thick skin and be prepared to take a lot of abuse. Personally I’d wear my Pats jersey anywhere, but if you’re not comfortable in an environment where you’re the enemy and will be outnumbered 1,000 to 1, then probably not.

It depends on where you sit. If you are in one of the end zones I would say no. In other areas of the stadium I would say yes. I grew up in Buffalo and had season tickets for 13 years, but Dallas was my numbe one team until I moved out of state. I almost got in a fight with a new ticket holder because I was wearing a Bills jersey and a Cowboys hat….There is always some drunk jerk in the stands.

depends on how thick your skin is. It’s pretty rare that anything physical would happen to an opposing fan but when you consider that the Pats are more hated by Bills fans than the Fish are, you’ll definitely hear a lot.

Eh, just don’t be a jerk and nothing will happen. I haven’t been to a Bills game in a loooooooooooong time but I’ve gone to see the Sabres play the Leafs and as long as the Leafs fans were cool then nothing happened to em. When they turned into jerks and were taunting people then beer got spilled and exchanges were made.

I have been to tons of bills games (bills fan) and as long as you dont start stuff, 99% of the bills fans will leave you alone. Obviously theres the fan that will sout out pats suck (because face it they do) but nothing more than than. Go Bills and enjoy the game at the ralph.

I am neither a Pats or Bills fan, nor from New York, but hey, why not? Support your team!
